BB U R Z A (MEAT EXCHANGE)

The cultural space B U R Z A fulfils the ambition of the entry of technical elements into the historical space of the renovated building of the former meat exchange in the grounds of holešovice market. The main space is designed especially for combining musical or theatrical performances and their possible intermingling with exhibition elements or a multitude of performances. The original heritage-protected structures of the building are complemented by an internal supportstructure that becomes a poignant home for a complete technology park. The stock exchange itself then becomes a studio, theatre, concert hall and exhibition ship. The central space is complemented by a bar with a full gastronomic background, service areas for spectators and employees.
