TOWNHOUSES NA FRANTIŠKU

The building is designed as a set of eleven townhouses with individual commercial spaces oriented to U Milosrdných Street. The concept of townhouses should refer to the principle of medieval construction in the vicinity. The historical part is characterized by townhouses with commercial space, often built on a very narrow and deep plot, as is the case with this project. The main domain of the thesis is the interpretation of the old town principles and their adaptation to current needs. All this is in an effort to be a kind of bridge between the historical buildings and the modern part.
