Sports Hall Nové Dvory

The design of the sports hall is part of the urban planning study for Prague 4 – Nové Dvory. An important part of the design is also the associated training hall, located in the space behind the sports hall. The playing areas of both halls are located at the level of the first underground floor. Each building is connected by a clean corridor for athletes, which passes through the common background of the locker rooms. The entrance for spectators is then at the level of the ground floor and is arranged for each hall separately. Inside the buildings there is a fitness center, a meeting room, a massage room, a snack bar, a fencing board and, last but not least, a dance hall. The facade of both halls is lined with vertical wooden planks along with concrete pilasters.
