Čáslav- apartement house in the steet of General František Moravec

Kateřina Veselá

Annotation

The aim of my project was to design a dwelling house in the royal town of Čáslav that would complement the buildings around the historic core of the town. The plot in the street of General František Moravec is 45m wide and 78m long and it is bounded on one side by the street and on the other by the original town walls. On the plot there are extensive historical cellars, which influenced the whole design. The apartment building occupies half of the open street frontage, on the other half there are detached houses and a passage to the plot with parking. The apartment building is designed as a four-storey building with an active ground floor and three residential floors. Each floor is composed of three residential units.
