APARTMENT HOUSE CHÝNOVSKÁ

BLOCK: The two of us took care of the design of the development of the block in very close cooperation. They differ primarily in the function, shape and composition of the individual apartments. Connecting elements are common underground garages, mutually accessible corridors, or the white brick cladding of both houses. (...) THE HOUSE: The house in the southern part of the block emphasizes openness. The overall mass with its atrium opens to the main street and the glass walls of the commercial parts of the house allow contact between people inside and outside. The active parterre on the ground floor thus becomes a key element of the building. It gives the residents of the house opportunities not only for use, but also for work. The loggias then open the building to the surroundings.
