WAVE OF ART

Holešovice belongs to a locality with a large number of important cultural institutions. The Wave of Art project was designed to develop the direction of ART DISTRICT 7 and better connect art objects with each other. It is a cultural center, the main representative spaces of which are the theater and the gallery. The three-story building has a large area of ​​glazing - it opens up a wide view of Prague. The articulated white facade resembles the natural waves of a river. The building is located on the Bubenské nábřeží along the Vltava. An abandoned gravel-sand silo is located on the property, which carries the historical value of the old Holešovice. The connection between the silo and the new center creates a composition that has a major influence on the development of the locality.
