Smichov - On the edge of the water

Our project - On the edge of the water - is focused on the theme of water. We tried to create on this linear site on the river, a place with different activities, where people could enjoy the water. We divided the site into segments, in each of which we have arranged several activities. To give strength to our concept, we kept the same shape for each building, that is "wave", as you can see from the main building we focused on. Moreover, our idea was to create a promenade along the whole site, enjoying both the river and the project itself: we therefore created a path on the water inside the site, and at the same time, floating platforms on the river. In particular, during this semester, we focused on the main building which is a rowing gym, characterized by the wave roof.
