FLATS ALEJ OSTRAVA!!!

Ostrava. The third largest city in the Czech Republic. The city of industry with a huge potential to be modernized. One of the urbanistic studies of the city, especially the part called "Žofinka" became the starting point of our studio's work. Currently empty piece of land situated between the Vítkovice mines and Nová Karolína should be mirroring the current modernization of the city, yet honor its history. In my project I created a block of flats which can be connected into a row on the future Sofia's promenade. Behind the house is a park and the parter of the house offers two commercial spaces. At first glance you can notice the unconventional facade of the houses, consisting of a projecting interior in combination with balconies. This gives the house an attractive and modern look.
