Complex of Family Houses, Bhutan

Milana Skachkova

Annotation

A komplex of family houses is located in the Punaka district of Bhutan. Each house is built as a two-story building made of traditional, ecological materials (wood and clay). The house has two entrances. The main entrance is in the second floor. The second floor contains 3 rooms and a bathroom. The first floor contains a prayer room, a toilet and a large room with a kitchen, dining room and living room, which does not disturb the Bhutanese traditions and allows for family relationships where people can prepare food, have fun near the hot chimney and just spend time together. Houses inspired by the traditional architecture of Bhutan, which is a visiting card of the country.
