TEPLÁ MONASTERY AND ITS HOMESTEADS

Dot linked to the landscape_at a crossing_in a valley_on a hill_in a town_under a hill_in a meadow typological_urban_architectural_visual Dot in the landscape is a menhir, a chapel, a house...but also a village, a town or a capital city...and so in the studio, when we first discussed the topic, we came to the conclusion that a dot in the landscape is actually "anything". I was looking for a theme that was close to nature, somehow based on it and could be related to it. The complex of the Teplá monastery's homesteads thus became the ideal answer to my search. In my pre-diploma I deal with the history of agriculture, the development of the typology of farm buildings, and the Teplá Monastery and its homesteads.
