The author of the cultural centre Crytal from the 80s is Jiří Suchomel from the SIAL studio. In my intervention, I preserve the main idea and character of the house, namely the inspiration of the bastion at the end of the monastery garden, crossed by an outdoor staircase connecting the southern part of the city and the historical centre.
The impermeable technical facade will be replaced with a new glazed one. In the facade, hinged entrance panels will be created with the same division as the rest of the facade. Two of the entrances closest to the outdoor staircase are designed as main entrances. According to the analogy of the orangery, a bistro with a greenhouse will be created on the newly glazed parterre that can be accessed from the bosket via the other entrances.
