Hradištko -Through the Walls

Hradištko is a village in the Středočeský district. The village lacks it's own centre and facilites for citizens. In cooperation with urbanistic projects by students from Stempel-Beneš studio I create new public space which communicates with newly build facilities in reconstructed agricultural buildings around small baroque Hradištko castle. Hradištko gains not just a new space for social events and everyday activities, but also a representative kind of courtyard, which flips some of the baroque principles to modern point of view.
