The proposal focuses on the transformation of the existing carpark in front of the Uran department store in Česká Lípa. The project consists of two buildings - a city gallery and art studios with a cafe. While the building where the studios are located is cold and raw, the gallery is a light glazed cube that glows at night. The facade of the gallery consists of an area of trigonometric curves that are mirrored to each other. Their effect is supported by used 'curtain' glass panels from the manufacturer Lasvit. The underground floors of the gallery and studios are connected. This creates a creative environment with a gallery functioning as a whole. At the same time, the structure of the buildings shapes the residential area used by both the café and gallery and the newly designed market.
