Annotation

The Winter sports museum is located in Harrachov, a small town famous for its ski jumping hills, specifically the Čerťák - one of the most dangerous jumps. The museum site is located directly across from the jumps. One of the main design goals to create multifunctional space. That is achieved by seated stairs in the exhibition area. Combined with a possible projection, they can work as a local conference hall or a little theater. The whole museum is barrier-free and includes a storage area, an office, and a small cafe. The whole building is cladded in corten, which is giving it modern look while respecting the surroundings
