The Wave of Democracy is a project that aims to create a new parliament building that will serve as the symbolic and functional centre of Czech democracy. The location we have chosen for such an important institution is Letenský Park, specifically the edge of the park where the Metronome currently stands. One of the reasons for this location is the symbolic value of this place. The Parliament building is at roughly the same height as Prague Castle in this location, thus emphasising the position of the Parliament as an institution in our parliamentary system of government and thus responding to the problem of the present-day palace complex on the Malá Strana.
