Restoration of a stone barn

This project is dedicated to the restoration of an old stone barn in Petrovice near the Ore Mountains ( Krušné hory). The current state of the building is four brick and stone walls and a semi-collapsed roof. The intention of the restoration is to build a glass engraving studio on the ground floor and a multipurpose space for locals on the first floor. The two upper floors will then be the owner's flat. The entire new building will be a wooden structure inserted into the existing building, separated by a ventilation gap.
