Architecture and Urbanism, MA diploma project

Annotation

The work deals with the castle grounds in the village of Stvolínky in northern Bohemia. Today, the village has just over 300 inhabitants, the village square is crossed by first-class transit roads and is being used for the chateau grounds. The chateau itself requires extensive repairs, today only one building remains of the farmyard and the chateau park has almost disappeared. The dominant feature of the village is also the Church of All Saints, which is in a state of disrepair today. The village also destroyed the inn and other houses that formed an important part of this place. Stvolínky used to be a functioning town with beautiful architecture, twice as many inhabitants as it is today and used its potential. In this work there is an effort to find out all possible analytical data for the village and the castle grounds and to achieve an ideal option for revitalization and return of life to this place.
