Hobbiton

Chříč is the name of a small village near Rakovník in the Pilsen region. With great surprise, it has a building of the first level of primary school, a castle and a brewery for its size. The phenomenon of living in this village attracts a larger number of not only working people, but also their children who need a place for education. The insufficient capacity of the cultural center, as a substitute building for the second level, forced the village to expand by this missing element. The sheet metal embracing the organic shape of the building and the hidden wooden structure express a village character combining urbanity and nature. The school has 6 classrooms with access to the garden with a greenhouse and flower beds, which are used for learning in the summer months.
