Alaunplatz

Alaunplatz or A-park, as locals are calling it, is large park in Neustadt, which is a vibrant district located in the city of Dresden. Our studio assignment involved improving the park and devising a new concept, given its significant popularity and frequent visits. The area is struggling with a shortage of trees and dry conditions experienced during summer. The design features a variable system of pathways dividing park into irregular shapes, serving various functions, with a central free space.
