TEPNA PLATFORM

The project site is located on a 5-hectare area released by the closure of the Maunter Tepna factory in Náchod. In 2020, a competition was announced for this site, and based on the selection, a project was developed that will be implemented in the future. Within the site, there remains a smaller building that was not demolished due to its connection to an existing vault, which is supported by the said building. This building consists of four floors, and only its structural framework has been preserved, currently without any specific use. The aim of the project was to find a suitable purpose for the site prior to the implementation of the winning competition project. The proposed activation should take place in the form of markets, festivals, exhibitions, cinematic projections, etc.
