ADAPTIBLE CONVERSION OF THE FACTORY TEPNA NÁCHOD

Bc. Karolína Šimonová

Annotation

It is a project that focuses on the conversion of the Náchod Tepna, a reinforced concrete skeleton factory structure that is currently dilapidated. The project involves the reconstruction of the factory with an emphasis on preserving the original supporting structure. In my project, I completely preserved the original load-bearing structure of Tepna and removed only the facade of the building. In this way, only the reinforced concrete skeleton remains, while the original staircase and factory facilities are still usable. In the middle part of the factory, I removed the reinforced concrete slabs to create atria that are suitable for the new use of the building. To ensure variability and temporariness, I am supplementing the reinforced concrete skeleton with cells that can be easily removed
