Exhibition of Studio Projects

Annotation

Cassiopeia is a place where scientific research meets public education and experiences. It is an astronomical complex located in the heart of Mariánská skála in Ústí nad Labem. The proposed two masses are connected by a public space. The main building is dedicated to exhibition spaces, these are scientific activities, astronomy, natural sciences, solar studies, interactive exhibitions and a projection hall. There is an entrance hall and a cloakroom on the ground floor, and an exhibition in the basement. The second building is a restaurant that complements the complex with a place for refreshments and relaxation. Both buildings have separate entrances and are barrier-free. An important element of the buildings is the light exterior shell, which is made up of glass filling and profiled sheet
