Canvas of Rocks

The Mariánská skála quarry, located in the city of Ústí nad Labem stands as a notable landmark in the city, yet its potential as a cultural attraction remains untouched. The studio assignment is dedicated to addressing this gap, aiming to design a space that highlights the quarry. The final design revolves around the integration of the natural contours into walkways leading to a curved gallery imitating the quarry shape serving as a canvas for display of rocks and minerals.
