Biotope

Nové Město nad Metují udes to have one of the most beautiful swimming pool which was also very popular and frequented. In 1998 swimming pool lost his tenant and since then the whole area has been falling into desrepair and overgrown. A new area that is called Biotope has three main parts. The first one is a new swimming pool that works on the biotope principle. There is also a new svimming bath and sport center near the swimming pool. Second one is a boating camp and the last one is a new cottage settlement that arose around the pond and along the Metuje river. Wood is the essential material. This material serves as a connecting element between the three main parts.
