VEŘEJNÉ PROSTRANSTVÍ V DOLNÍCH POČERNICÍCH

The aim of the project is to create a comfortable and sustainable environment for a new residential district in Dolní Počernice, taking into account the further development of the area. The concept is based on the synergy of proposed functions and connected public spaces, linking the new public spaces to the existing ones, including the connection of local centers through an underpass beneath the railway tracks. The railway track thus ceases to be a barrier! The focal point of the area becomes a north-south composed system of new squares - new local centers of the residential quarter, along which shops, cafes, and other civic amenities are situated. The heart of the neighborhood is the elementary school, serving not only its immediate surroundings but the entire urban district.
