SUNHILL AVENUE

Bc. Jiří Borecký

Annotation

The Sunhill Avenue complex is located in Prague's Modřany, on the edge of a hill along the Modřanská rokle reservation. It smoothly connects residential development in the north and natural landscape in the south. Emphasis is placed on minimizing the newly emerging paved areas for cars, by placing the new road underground, and maximizing the amount of green growth not only south of the buildings, but also between them and towards the housing estates in the north. The complex consists of nine residential buildings with 11-19 floors above ground and a building located in the area of the existing tram loop between the stations Modřanská rokle and Hasičská station Modřany. Residential buildings always offer one apartment per floor, each unit has a view of the reservation Modřanská Rokle.
