Situated within the topography of the Mariánská skála quarry in Ústí nad Labem ,
the project offers an immersive multisensory journey where art, nature, and
technology converge. The design proposal consists of 3 main horizontal volumes
which are connected by a vertical dominant of the elevator : exhibition space with
dynamic visual-light installations , soundcaves with acoustic chambers, which are
inserted into the natural rock of the quarry and a recreation space with a 360 °
view of the surrounding landscape. The artspace blends soundscapes and lightscapes, creating dynamic environments that fulfill basic human needs for sensory engagement and communication through art.
