Footbridge over Mlýnský nahon

The footbridge bridges the Mlýnský náhon, a branch of the river, near Nové Město nad Metují. It is a part of the pedestrian and cycle path leading along the Metuje River. Its simple appearance creates a contrast with the surrounding nature and the river sluice. The shape of the footbridge is based on the movement curve of pedestrians and cyclists along the path. A railing on one side allows you to stop for a moment, lean back and enjoy the view of the river landscape. Or quickly cross over to the other side and experience the slight adrenaline rush from the absence of the railing on the other side.
