KARLOVYVARY° KARLSBAD HOF

The proposed bloc of buildings borrows some ideas from the great social housing in the period of the "Red Vienna". The string of houses is situated on a steep slope between Kolmá street and Na Vyhlídce street in the center of Karlovy Vary. The urban fabric adds on to the 19th century row and block urbanism present. An important feature of the project are the inner courtyards that are mainly a green space for the residents, but are also publicly accessible to anyone and part of a series of paths and shortcuts.
