Annotation

"Jestřábí boudy", a defunct group of mountain lodges, are located below the "Vrbatovo návrší" in the Giant Mountains. The lodges were built in 1938 as a barracks, and over time they changed their function several times until they were demolished in 1986. The project consists of a partial restoration that recreates the original urban layout of the structures in the terrain, although the structures remain only at the level of the former plinths. The two lower lodges are reminded of their existence by the torsional restoration of the perimeter walls. The upper two lodges provide the base, used for research purposes. The atypical lodge by the old road is the only one restored in its entirety and offers facilities for visitor infrastructure with the possibility of exhibition space.
