The original idea from which the project concept was driven was to take the form of a
standard residential block and apply it to an urban hub. The city block is a quadrangular
block with a courtyard in the middle. But such a scheme works well for housing, will it
work for a mixed-use building? It was decided to keep the outer rectangular shape and
modify the courtyard.
The main advantage of the project location is the beautiful view to the main station of
Prague, so the courtyard as if «opened» towards it. And the concept of the eye appeared
in the form of a large glazed space under the dome.
Thus, the project began to look like a «black box» inside which there is a complex
structure that allows you to look at the beautiful view and offers volumetric functional
zoning
