New town district Buková in Jihlava

Annotation

The development is located in Jihlava, which is one of the smallest rogional towns. Still, new residents are still moving to Jihlava and there is potential for the development of new residential areas. The southern border of the territory is formed by the streets Buková and S.K. Neumann, and the northern border is from the natural landscape. The assignment was to design a fully usable inner block as a space for social meetings. The block is made up of verify flat-mix houses with different layers of the demographie. The goal was to create a space for activity and rest for each of them. The inner block is functionally divided into 4 zones, which crossing forms the central space for neighborhood interaction. Children‘s playgrounds, community gardens and planty of greenery are key elements.
