In the design of the tram loop in Lehovec I want to create an attractive public space as the centre of the estate. After the opening of the Hloubětín metro station in 1999, the site of the original transport interchange turned into an abandoned place. Today, the loop is separated from the estate by busy roads, making it difficult to access. The design includes a public space with a loop radius, an underpass connecting the housing estate to the circular square. The square is the focus of attention, offering greenery and providing a new space to meet and relax. The hall and café form a glass ring around the square connecting the interior to the exterior. The terminal tram station can serve not only as a starting or ending point for travel, but also as an attractive destination on its own.
