Mechanical Depository

Essence of the houses story is a small horse statue found not far from the building's plot. A statuette is not only proof of the strong culture of the time, but proof of mans made a craft with artistic intent.Rear mechanical depository is shaped with this idea in mind, and likened to the statuette in an anthropomorphic way. Cells in the depository are slide-out. A crane pulls these cells and sets the artifacts in motion. Like the paintings of the futurists, these cells in the room represent the captured movement of time. The cube set into the sandstone functions as a laboratory for documentation of archaeological material. Thanks to the facade cladding made of perforated sheet, direct light does not penetrate, which makes perfect for photogrammetric processing and digitization of artifacts
