Apartment building Žižkov

The building located in Žižkov, Prague is part of a block of residential buildings designed by the students. I designed a corner apartment building with the orientation of the main street facade to the northwest. The main point of the concept is the smooth glass rounding of the corner of the facade, which, in addition to its dynamic appearance, also offers pleasant views of the main street, Hartigova. The building consists of a ground floor and six residential floors. The dominant part of the design is a spacious cafe, which extends from the ground floor to the 2nd floor. The architecture of the apartment building tries to respect the surrounding buildings, but at the same time it's enriched with less traditional elements that give the overall appearance of the building a fresh modern look
