Residential house Letná

Annotation

In Letná, next to the National Technical Museum, we design a new block of residential buildings that becomes a new part of the urban complex. The eight-storey building is divided into an active ground floor, six floors of typical levels, and one floor of atypical layout. The building is served by two vertical communication cores, which lead to a communal roof for residents. In total, there are 48 apartments ranging from 2 rooms and kitchen to 4 rooms and kitchen. On the ground floor, a café is designed, from which one can enter the cinema, offices, and open spaces for rent. The facade is composed of light bricks on all floors. The first and last floors, as opposed to the typical ones, differ in the arrangement of bricks - every other brick protrudes in front of the facade.
