KOŠÍŘĚ, a district of the Capital City of Prague sitting in the Pilsen Valley a few hundred meters from the lucrative location of Smíchov, was the topic of this semester. A place that was fixed as deaf and where the dirt and scum of society gathered is slowly transforming into a pleasant space for living. We focused on Vrchlického Street, where car dealerships, parking lots and gas stations line the road. I believe that such sites deserve better spatial management than the mindless construction of low-rise buildings without any perceived wider context.
