Cromlech

Hořice is a city of rich stone-making tradition and beauty, which is precisely represented by the Gothárd sculpture park. The statues are thus placed mainly outside, where the visitor can come into contact with them even during a daily walk. There is also a gallery built by the residents in the park, but it is increasingly unable to fulfill its function, either from a technical or capacity point of view. My task this semester was therefore to design a new gallery building in which the sculptural tradition could continue to live on.
