Student cohousing

The main idea of the design was to create an environment for young people from the former tram depot Orionka. The tram depot has long been used only as garages, workshops and offices. My intention is to clean the historic building of later additions and find a new function for the tram depot. Given the civic and transport amenities in the immediate area, I decided to use the south-eastern corner of the plot for student housing. Each floor then has a large common space with an extension to another, larger loggia towards the park in front of the tram depots. The design seeks to secure a certain community and the coexistence of its members. At the same time, I want everyone to have enough privacy. This is how my deign differs from the the traditional concept of student halls.
