Revitalization of the Letecke Square in Libčice nad Vltavou

The subject of the project documentation is the revitalization of Letecke Square in Libčice nad Vltavou. It is a small square that rather resembles the village square of the original village Letka, which is currently a city district. The small square, adorned with greenery and a chapel from 1901, primarily serves as a transportation nod with the final stop for a suburban bus. The proposal aims to rejuvenate the square by introducing a kiosk with public restroom, a shelter for the bus stop, and seating area. The entire square is covered with a granite pavement that varies according to usage intensity. Unpaved vegetated areas are no longer just passive elements but represent a diverse palette of perennial beds inspired by rural aesthetics.
