Apartment Building in Náchod

The center of Náchod undoubtedly has significant historical value, however, the structure of the original medieval core is now disturbed by missing houses, gaps, or inappropriate interventions. Three apartment buildings from the second half of the 20th century are located on the site of the former fence as if they had skipped several centuries without any apparent connection to the surroundings. They do not follow the street lines, have a completely different approach to the surrounding area, and are highly elevated. Would it be possible to solve this situation without Náchod losing its residential capacity? The bachelor's thesis develops a study of the new construction of an apartment building with 28 apartments and four commercial spaces to the stage of documentation for a building permit.
