THE FLOATING CHURCH

The floating church is placed inside of the Vltava river, it is a sort of spacey volume developed after the study of the meditation pavillion by Tadao Ando and ville Savoy of Le Corbusier. The access to the church is thru a floating bridge and an external stair. The church aim to be an element of focus in the surrounding landscape. It is formed by an elliptical column that supports a cylinder, inside of which people can pray. The end result is a conceptual structure, based on the relationship between the circle, the ellipse and the line, carefully composed following the harmony of shapes.
