Home above the tram roof

The Žižkov carriage station, a hidden value of the city of Prague, put into operation in 1912, bears the image of its time while still serving its original purpose. This image should be preserved, which is why I designed the apartment buildings on the columns so that anyone walking along Na Vápence Street could see the carriage houses and also so that a tram could pass underneath them. The main components of the project are the three masses and the outdoor platforms that connect them. The life of the apartment buildings is shifted to the 1st floor (+4,500m) so that trams can live on the ground floor.
