Elementary School NYMBURK

Annotation

The design of the primary school in Nymburk is based on the requirements of the town of Nymburk. The plot is located in the north-west of the town in a part where a new district is planned to be built to expand the housing development. The design of the school itself is inspired by the layout of a monastery. The main building is divided into three parts: left, middle and right. The entrance of the building is located in the middle part, where we get to the heart of the whole building. In this part there are also common areas for all the pupils. The left part is for the first grade pupils, who enter this part immediately after entering the building through the cloakroom. The right-hand part belongs to the second-grade pupils and the classrooms are designed here.
