The concept of cups made from plastic with a coffee grounds additive is based on a locking system in the upper part of the lid, similar to an eccentric mechanism. By placing the bottom part of one cup into the lid of another and subsequently rotating them around the vertical axis, they interlock and secure. This allows users to carry multiple cups simultaneously without the need for paper holders. A user can thus transport 4-6 cups for cappuccino or café latte in this manner. The dimensions of both types of cups are the same at the top and bottom – the difference in volume is compensated for by the height of the container. An exception is the small espresso cup, which, due to its smaller volume, requires a much smaller form and cannot be connected to the system described above.
