Neighborhood park

At the beginning of the semester, we asked ourselves the traditional question - WHAT and HOW to improve through our design. Hostivař Park is unique to us due to its functional duality; it is an important part of the green infrastructure in terms of accessibility and connection to the surroundings, but it is also closely connected to the local housing estate, inviting local use. This led us to think about the concept of neighborhood. What does this term mean today? Is there room for neighborhoods in today's cities and our lifestyles? How often do we meet and get to know the people we pass by every day?
