Broumovské korálky

The area under consideration is located in the north of Bohemia. The goal of the project was to densify the built-up area and create binding spaces of 'beads' that would secure and make the city attractive for existing/potential residents and visitors. The concept is defined by fixation lines, on the eastern side by railways and on the western side by walls and the green belt. At the focus of the lines is the river, a city-forming element that passes through Broumov and represents the thread that connects the individual beads. In the proposal, there was an effort to revive brownfields and unused spaces with development potential.
