Grünnau

Broumov (Braunau in German) has been suffering from a decline in population for many years, factories along the banks of the river are losing their function and new buildings are expanding into the surrounding countryside. Life is disappearing from the city. The area is bordered by the lines of the city walls and the railway line, which create a barrier that is difficult to pass. The concept is based on the interweaving of the green string through the current development, strengthening the permeability and completion of the urban tissue. The dominant element is the embankment of the Stěnava River, which makes it accessible to the public and offers new uses.
