Above the trains

The home for the elderly is located in Prague, Vinohrady. From the outside, the house appears strict, creating a solid guiding element of the street. The mass of the house is shaped more richly into the garden with the help of balconies. Despite the fact that the house is massive, with the help of the materiality of the facade and the play with the window coverings, a human scale was achieved. During the design, the emphasis was placed on two key elements - a view of the train station and at the same time a quiet private garden. There's nothing better than visiting grandma or grandpa in a house with such a view!
