The Line

The Line is located in Bezručovo square in Opava. The main concept is to create a single long bench that visually completes a clear, clean architectural and landscape element. The line runs through the northern part of the square from the fountain to Mírová street. The overall shape and orientation of the Line work with the zoning of the entire square. Bezručovo square can generally be divided into three parts: the southern part with the bust of Petr Bezruč, the central part with the fountain, and finally the northern part, which currently has no added value or function. The intention was to complement this part of the square with a specific element that would enhance the space and additionally provide a place for meeting or just stopping by.
